"Reliable been ordering for years"
Always come back here to renew my contacts. Even with my complex prescription they have it in stock. I normally pay for standard shipping but if you need them quick, you can pay the extra $20 and it comes in 2 days. Not the cheapest site for sure but it is reliable.

Been coming here for contacts since forever. Always receive my lenses without any issues. Usually come in after a week. Would recommend for anyone who are in need of contacts.

"Great customer service"
Apparently when I placed the order, I forgot to enter in my apartment number. Their warehouse people caught it and called me to confirm. Happy they called me or else I wouldn't have received my contacts!

"Best contact lens site"
They are super convenient and I have never had an issue with ordering or customer service. They arrive on time and even email me to remind me when I need to order new ones again. Saco lens is the BEST way to go if you need to order contacts.

"Fraud"
Products are fine, shipping fast. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ordered from this site, my credit card information was stolen. I've been hit for thousands of charges. Thankfully, my bank worked with me, but because I used an HSA to purchase, that money was debited and took weeks to be returned. Big problem. Other reviewers have had the same experience. I did file a police report earlier this year. It's obvious that something is amiss with the site's security, yet the company continues make excuses with claims that they've been in business for X years, blah blah. I am no longer a customer.

"Great customer service so far"
From my experience, the customer service has been pretty good. Apparently, when I entered in my shipping address, I forgot to put in my apartment number. The next day, a customer service rep called me to doublecheck the address since according to Postal, there was a possbility there was a # number, which indeed there was. If they didn't call me, then my package would have been sent back to them, which would be a nightmare. No issues with this company so far.

"Worst Customer Service"
I have been buying contacts from Save-On-Lens for years. I always thought they had reasonable prices and quick shipping. However, I recently ordered one box of contacts (my prescription is the same in both eyes) to get me through until I get Lasik on August 9th. I typically do not wear glasses (not to mention they are broke and I have not gotten them fixed due to the fact that I will no longer be needing them).

I always buy Acuvue 2, -3.00, BC 8.3, DIA 14 with 6 lenses to a box.The contacts took about a week for shipping (I ordered July 25th and received them July 31st), which was fine. However, when I opened the box, I realized there were only 5 lenses in the box. Upon further inspection, I realized that three of the lenses were for my prescription and that their lot number matched the one on the box, however the other two lenses were a different prescription and obviously did not match the lot number on the box.

Of course, I emailed customer service (with pictures), stating that all I wanted was my money back. Their response was that I would have to return the box to their manufacturer, but if my claim was jusified I would only get replacement lenses if I made a new purchase or paid $10.00 to have replacement lenses sent on their own. Here is their wording from their email:

"We are sorry to hear your experience. Kindly note we are more than happy to assist you to identify the problem. All the contacts we carry are from the original manufacturer. Acuvue 2 is one of the the best one. We do not have any reports of defective lens associated with Acuvue 2. Please note this is a very strange case and we have never seen this happened before in our 18 years history.

The manufacturer will examine the contacts to justify for defective return. Kindly note should the manufacturer deems the lenses to be defective, the replacement lenses will be issued in the same prescription. If your Rx has changed, then the replacement will not work for you. The replacement contacts will be shipped with your next order for free, or, there will be a fee of $10.00 to ship it alone."

As I am receiving Lasik soon, this would not even be worth it as I would not get the new lenses for another week or longer, and will no longer need them by the time they arrive. Therefor, I simply wanted a refund for the faulty box I received. Their customer service told me my claim was impossible and laughable. Once again, here is their exact wording:

"Please note your claim is basically impossible. Any contact lens user would know this would never happen. Every patient knows a contact lens box has its own lot number. It is a laughable claim. If you want to keep insisting on your accusation, you will need to authenticate it by sending it back to the manufacturer for verification. You can't expect a refund without solid proof."

Ultimately, I will gladly send the box back, but request a full refund versus replacement lenses. I also straight up told them I will leave negative reviews to warn others of their customer service. All I can say is thank goodness I am getting Lasik so I never have to deal with ordering contacts again. I would highly NOT recommend ordering from Save-On-Lens, just due to the chance that if you have something go wrong, they provide you no help in fixing their mistake.

"Scumbags"
So i order my lenses, then they tell me they are discontinued, so i settle for a different brand. Then they tell me its shipped but i cant track it for a couple of days. Then i ask them to tell me where the package is and im being told it will get to destination in another week, So there is no 3-5 days delivery. So i wait for the package that never came even tho now the tracking number says its delivered! So now there are investigating with USPS for 10DAYS. So i dont get my money back and no lenses and i have to wait 2 more weeks now! So in total it will take month to solve this! This is the worst customer service ive ever had in my life! Terrible! I would never recommend! Scumbags!

"Contacts fit is perfect!"
This is the fifith time I ordered contacts from this site and I love my contacts. The website is pretty easy to use and customer service is very helpful. I use Acuvue Oasys and shipping is always fast, it comes within a week for standard shipping. I'll be a customer for life! :)

"SaveonLense Ripped Off Credit Card"
Ordered two boxes of contact lenses from Saveonlense on a Friday night. Sunday Morning, Visa was calling to ask if the purchase along with a $182 Taxi bill in SanFrancisco were legitimate charges to my bill. This is the only website I have used my CCard in several months. I would recommend not using a credit card to purchase from this site.

"Save on lens sent me wrong lenses and poor customer service on the return."
I re ordered lenses from save on lens as follows by hitting the reorder button:
Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia (Bifocal) USD$ 49.49
Eye: left
Base Curve: 8.4
Power: -5.50
Diameter: 14.3
Add Power: 2.50

The lenses I received were:
Acuvue Oasys 1-day
US $88.97
Price per box of 90 Lenses

Below is the email I sent the company:
I NEVER RECEIVED the lenses I reordered.
Someone else probably got my order and I was charged $100. I did not order and the company would not send me the contacts I ordered unless I reordered them again. I am a long standing customer and not happy with how this transaction is being handled. I also have to pay for postage and a restocking fee of $10 (they did waive this for me).

I will returned the other lenses to saveonlens through their process you detailed for me but asked them to look into this mistake further. I paid for shipping the lenses back to them and was charged an additional processing fee of $18.95. They did not admit their mistake and took almost a month to reimburse me the $88.97. I canceled my original order and ordered from lens.com.

"Poor services.."
"Save-On-Lenses has REALLY poor customer service. It is fine if you are ordering and don't have problems with your order. I used to order from them all of the time. Then I had a change in my perscription and I contacted them to see if I could exchange two UNOPENED boxes of contacts. They never answered and so I contacted them again. They didn't respond, so I called them. Long story short - they told me to send the boxes back and they would refund me money. I sent them back and never saw a dime back. I will never order from them again!"

“No. There's many over seas places to buy them without a current rx. Optical Institute is amazing, I've been ordering from them for 3 years.”
